Ive been doing more painting on the wacom tablet lately. I started with an image of an X wing for this one and painted over it to see if I could capture the essence of it and see what the brushes would leave behind. Hopefully a year from now I will be a lot better and the drawings will be more vibrant.

Sometimes I like to sit down and see what happens when the pen starts moving. I like the pen because once the ink is on the page whether you intended or not it has to be used. Most of these don't have a direction in mind, it all begins to flow and balance against itself, a mistake gets absorbed and redirected. These are from Christmas break a few years ago, it was a good vacation.
I was asked to design a coin for my platoon, this is the finished artwork that's been chosen. the word is that its waiting on funding so we will see what happens. If it gets made I will put up a photo of the finished product.
King Mingus was a band I did work for back in college, both in video and graphics. Below are some links to a few videos we made. I interned at SHOPEG cable access located in the library on the Suny Coblekill campus. While there I was able to bring them in a few times and film whole sets, the brothers would remaster the music at home and I would dub it over later when it was time to make the dvd. This was to clean up any mistakes, even though the music barely differed, it was to make sure it had a controlled studio sound. We had a lot of fun doing this and I was able to work it into an independent studies project. Above is some incidental art from that time, I will try to find more of the bands videos for later on. Below are links to the music videos from our first session at SCHOPEG. Video links

This one is still a work in progress. experimenting with different gradients to see what kind of dramatic effect I could get.
This one took a while, it started out somewhat aimlessly just to see what direction it would take. Ive been playing with the idea of telling a story in what would appear to just be background texture.
Deep Renewal is a band Ive done a bit of work for over the years. This is a cd release poster for one of their events last year for the Fill Me Up cd.
